Scope of This Policy

This policy explains how SunSpark Solar handles damage to solar equipment during transit, installation, and after your system is commissioned.

Damage During Transit or Installation

If equipment is damaged in transit or during installation due to our team or logistics partner, SunSpark Solar will repair or replace the affected component at no extra cost to you.

Damage After Installation

Once your system is commissioned, damage is assessed based on cause:

  • Manufacturing defects are handled under the applicable manufacturer or workmanship warranty — see our Warranty page.
  • Damage from external factors — such as severe weather, fire, accidents, animals, or unauthorised third-party work — is assessed case by case. Repairs in these cases may not be covered under standard warranty, and we will provide a repair or replacement quote before proceeding.

Reporting Damage

Please report any damage as soon as you notice it. Contact our support team with:

  • Your installation address and approximate installation date
  • A description of the damage
  • Photos, if available

Resolution Process

After you report damage, we will typically arrange a site inspection, assess whether the damage is covered under warranty or requires a paid repair, and share an estimated timeline for resolution.
